Zulfiqar Ahmad, owner of major companies, was forcibly taken by armed men in Karachi. The police have yet to register an FIR despite family attempts.
Zulfiqar Ahmad, a prominent businessman often referred to as the ‘Ambani of Pakistan,’ has been reported missing in Karachi. Ahmad, the owner of Paracha Textiles, Meezan Oil, and Cola Next, was allegedly abducted by armed men while on Mauripur Road in Keamari.
According to family sources, Ahmad was taken by masked gunmen who forced him and his business partner, Qaiser, into a double cabin vehicle. Eyewitnesses confirmed that Qaiser was released shortly after the abduction, but Ahmad’s whereabouts remain unknown.
The family’s efforts to file a First Information Report (FIR) have faced significant hurdles. Despite attempting to report the incident to the police the day after Ahmad’s abduction, the FIR has not been registered. This delay has intensified the family’s concern and frustration.
Authorities have yet to provide any updates on the investigation or Ahmad’s condition. The situation remains dire as the community and the business world await further details.
