Young Leaders Parliament, Hazara Division, Conducts Educational and Recreational Visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and Peshawar Museum

The Young Leaders Parliament, Hazara Division, under the leadership of its Divisional Leader Sikandar Khan Khalil organized a one-day educational and recreational visit to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and Peshawar Museum. More than 70 male and female students from various universities participated in the visit, representing the departments of Political Science, International Relations, Media Studies, Law, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Economics, and English and other departments.

The first part of the visit included an interactive seminar held in the historic Jirga Hall of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Special Secretary of the Assembly, Syed Waqar Syed Waqar Shah, and Assistant Secretary Legislation, Saifullah Khan, delivered a detailed briefing on the parliamentary system, legislative process, and assembly procedures.

On this occasion, honorable Members of the Provincial Assembly, including Ms. Amna Sardar, Ms. Farah Khan, and Ms. Ashbar Jadoon, attended the session as special guests. They responded to the students’ questions and appreciated the youth’s keen interest in political and parliamentary awareness.

The President of Young Leaders Parliament, Mr. Naveed Ahmad Khan, formally welcomed the delegation and appreciated the efforts of Divisional Leader Sikandar Khan Khalil, District Leader Nadir Khan Swati and all leaders and members of the Young Leaders Parliament from Hazara Division.

Addressing the participants, Divisional Leader Sikandar Khan Khalil stated that the core objective of the Young Leaders Parliament is to provide young people with practical exposure to parliamentary and democratic systems and to empower them in the field of leadership. He emphasized that such educational visits play a vital role in enhancing intellectual and social awareness among youth and in preparing them for future leadership roles.

In the second part of the visit, the students explored the Peshawar Museum, where the museum administration briefed them about historical artifacts, cultural heritage, and the ancient civilization of Peshawar. The participants showed great interest in various galleries and historical exhibits.

The students described the visit as a memorable and enriching experience in their academic, research, and leadership journey. They appreciated the initiative of the Young Leaders Parliament as a significant step toward the practical training and empowerment of youth.
